CNC Machining

CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and routers.

Milling

Milling is a cutting process that uses a milling cutter to remove material from the surface of a work piece. ... This makes metal cutting somewhat different (in its mechanics) from slicing softer materials with a blade. The milling process removes material by performing many separate, small cuts.

Turning

Turning is a form of machining, a material removal process, which is used to create rotational parts by cutting away unwanted material. ... Turning is also commonly used as a secondary process to add or refine features on parts that were manufactured using a different process.

Wire Erosion

EDM (Electro Discharge Machining) Wire Erosion is a precision engineering process where a work piece is cut through with a strand of wire, it creates electrical sparks between the wire and the work piece, and these electrical sparks cut the work piece.

Spark Erosion

Spark eroding (EDM) is a method of removing material by a series of electrical arcing discharges (sparks) between an electrode (the cutting tool) and the workpiece. The EDM cutting tool moves along the desired path very close to the work but without touching it.

Surface Grinding

A surface grinding machine uses a table that moves the work back and forth under a grinding wheel. The work is often passed under the grinding wheel multiple times. Grinding wheels are made precise using diamond dressers. Coolant is often applied during the process.
