CNC
machining
CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and routers.
Abrasive
grinding
Grinding practice is a large and diverse area of manufacturing and toolmaking. It can produce very fine finishes and very accurate dimensions; yet in mass production contexts it can also rough out large volumes of metal quite rapidly.
Wire and spark
erosion
Electrical discharge machining (EDM), also known as spark machining, spark eroding, die sinking, wire burning or wire erosion, is a metal fabrication process whereby a desired shape is obtained by using electrical discharges (sparks)

Percision Toolmaking at EJS Plastics
Toolmaking is the manufacture of precision components, press tools, injection moulds for various Industries which require very high precision machining using CNC and manual machinery and also a very high skill set.
CNC is Computer Numerical Control. Numerical control is the automated control of machining tools by means of a computer. A CNC machine processes a piece of material to meet specifications by following a coded programmed instruction and without a manual operator directly controlling the machining operation.
EJS Plastics have invested in the sophisticated machinary needed to carry out these tasks and these form the backbone of our percision toolmaking business today.
EDM
Along with our milling, grinding and other services we use EDM as a core part of our daily operations. Electrical discharge machining (EDM), also known as spark machining, spark eroding, die sinking, wire burning or wire erosion, is a metal fabrication process whereby a desired shape is obtained by using electrical discharges (sparks).
We have three tool makers on site, with our own in-house CNC machining capability, in milling, turning, wire and spark erosion. We also offer surface grinding, ID/OD grinding, flat surface grinding of parts up to 400 x 600. This makes us a one-shop shop for part production, where we can build, validate and produce customer parts on site.
In-house Expertise
EJS Plastics employs three full-time professional tool-makers at our facility in Limeirck.
